Howie appears to be recovering and ventured out for a "walk" around the local parks. Having "crutched" his way over about a kilometre he decided he needed a meal and drinks in order to take his antibiotics - not sure beer is a great stomach liner. Anyway Mal and Steve obliged him just because they are good guys. Tomorrow we start our last 5 days to complete the Trams Am but the weather gods have declared a flood warning for the area. Oh well ... it wasn't meant to be easy. Forward ho.
A recovery day in Radford after the last week of riding has been a relief to all. Some/everyone slept in before doing the chores and site seeing. A few took off to visit Virginia Tech in nearby Christiansburg while others did their washing, cleaned bikes and caught up on all the news. Did we really lose the first test to the poms??? Thanks goodness we are in a country that has never heard of the game. Time for Watto to be replaced by Mitch.
