Our first ride in Virginia and all we can conclude is that she is a nasty tease. The steep long hills of Kentucky were replaced with less steep, long hills that punished tired legs. Another 120km day with 1800m of climbing. Oh Kansas we love you - give us those flat, long, straight roads again. But every uphill has a downhill and at least we enjoyed those. And the dogs were chained. A difficult day on busy roads only gets a 5.
The local Rotary club generously hosted Trish and Mal for lunch and then took us to a local brewery for drinks. They also provided a donation to WCfK. Incredibly generous and friendly. Thank you Matt for all your support (and your fellow Rotarians).
