A rest day in Pueblo to do all the last minute things that only a large town can offer - get the bikes serviced and repaired, buy clothes from TJMax, go to a local brewery pub, have a swim in a pool, go to Starbucks. Yes we have fallen victim to the dreaded chain coffee house and resorted to buying coffee from them. Shame of shames ... We were joined by Mike Galinski and his wife Barbara for the evening and day as they were on the way back to New Mexico. Mike was in Perth for a few years and rode with the Subi Sprockets - he still had the shirt. He and Rodney even went for a bike ride just for old times sake. The rest of us just veged. The weather has turned and we will start riding in hotter conditions from now on. Oh for the snow ....

Enjoy the warmer weather after your rest day- Starbucks too! We are about to have some winter here in Perth at last - rain, storms and cold mornings forecast for the next few days. Safe cycling everyone! Dale xx

Good time for carb loading (Howie, as usual is off to a flying start). Good on you Rod catching up with Mike (Glinsky - better fix the spelling!); you appreciate the camaraderie of cycling, unlike those show-ponies in your group (I'm looking at you Mal .... and Howie). Starbucks is OK in a pinch. A quintuple shot venti (as modelled by Howie in the photo) from my local in Manila saved my bacon a few times after a big night out. Ah, those crazy days. It's looking like getting very wet here back home (do you remember Perth?) so enjoy your fine weather gang, and stop whinging Mal. Keep working them hard ladies and the blog coming. Cheers.

Over half way - that is staggering ! High Fives to everyone. Especially Trish who has to do a lot more rotations with those shorter legs.
